crossed connections----Writers Island

crossed connections convoluted
tumbled in turbine
rolled round and round
water wears it down
by its sheer will, bending it
to do its bidding
perfectly producing electricity

nature does balance out the modern world
both amalgamating smoothly
'rivals' becomes a mere word
for their relationship

Very well done.

Nature and power. Nothing stronger, OR in balance.

If nature and the modern world are the rivals, I think it's about more than a mere word, it's about eco-war.

I'm also glad I found you.
It's a war that'll never end, man vs. nature. Nice write.

it's great when rivals become partners but when man and nature are concerned, this is so raraly the case...

This is the kind of rivalry where human would never win. I think we should realize that we need to work WITH Nature and not AGAINST nature because in the end, even winning against it would be our doom.

I wish you well.
