dilemma

Here I offer two short verses, both different from my style!:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
you ask to follow me?
never! ending this
unhealthy liason now
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

in the abyss of darkness
where black holes absorb
all that they can, he got lost-
momentarily
blinded by it

yet he senses it has to end
nothing ever is never ending

Yeah!

I love this poem!

Thanks for the delight and the smile of recognition. Yes, that is how it happens. Between words, between breaths, you know!

Thank you for the great prompt.

You are full of surprises! Not your style at all, but brilliant nonetheless.

Really nice one. The first one.

To be lost temporarily in a black hole is an intense idea. I feel the crushing pressure of all and nothing at once!

All kinds of interesting interpretations in this one. Well done!

Maybe not your style but I enjoyed them both. :)

Hi Gautami, these are very different.

A nice twist to the prompt!

An interesting hypotheses, but has anything ever come out from within a black hole? At least yet?

Hi Guatami!

I just came by to check out some of your entries from the past several weeks. I learned a new word from you "tatterdemalion" - that's a great word!

I haven't been around, I've been working too hard. Is there no more Monday Poetry Train?

so witty especially the first

I so love the sparse nature of these two pieces Gautami -- especially the second piece. Powerfully minimal, yet it immerses you instantly and deeply in its rich essence.

"nothing ever is never ending" the mantra of the material world... ;)

I'm still perplexed as to why they took the N out of DilemNa...
how rude!

Wanting an end to things that will inevitably end anyway - perhaps the sentiment of wishing for 'forever' will last forever.

Love the prompt, and your excellent twist on the take. Your second poem is marvelous as well.

Your work is always intriguing to me.

Today I am stopping in from Writer's Island.

I enjoyed both poems but I really found myself drawn to the last line in the second one. It makes me think.

Thanks for your kind comment on my blog! and it is nice to known that you care and teach these children.
It is also nice what you said about India I have found that many of the best blogs are run by people in India. My father was in India before independence.

If there is a beginning, an ending is definitely somewhere out there. The law of life is polarity. Otherwise existence is but void.
