frenzied entropies

trying to taste coffee from your lips
I stop space and time with a kiss-
eroding all the rules of diplomacy
with madness and neurotic honesty

coaxing our flesh to confess
what our words never dare profess
simmering, shivering, reckless kiss
igniting arson between our hips’

inciting the surface of our skin
frenzied entropies lurks within,
catastrophe of emotions and thoughts
which alternatively distort and contort

we unwittingly undrape deceits,
writhing under the silken sheets.
molten tongues, roving palms
yielding to contagion of giddy charms

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And don't forget to join the poetry train this Monday.
Hi Gautami. Great passion and energy in this poem. How have you been? Looks like you are keeping yourself very busy with the Poetry Train, and it looks like you're doing a fine job with it too. I've enjoyed dropping in here and reading your poetry during the last year. Hope the new one is a good one for you.
It's tough to pull off a poem like this, but you make it seem easy.
I especially like -
"simmering, shivering"
and
"frenzied entropies"
Entropy - from the physical sciences - has such rich possibilities when applied to human love.
What a beautifully sensual poem...such vivid imagery!
Thanks for mentioning the Poetry Train -- I have a brand new poem I can submit tomorrow.
Happy 2009 to you~~ :~)
Very touching...
I love the use of entropy and the notions it conjures up.
You can feel the chemical reaction in this poem. Love that you chose to use the word "entropes".
Love all of it!
Holy Frenzied Entropies Batman!
Hmmm...that is a nice fit because unexpected changes do tend to average out the differences in people.
Wow two very different poems and I was able to relate to both. Sad to feel that tension of the first but it was great to move to powerful romance of the second.
Wonderful work,
Bonnie
I must admit, I am very fond of rhyming poetry, as you can probably tell from my own work. This poem as well as being very sexy suits both worlds.
I am dating an Indian girl at the moment too. :-p
