recipe of love brews well

my tremulous dream
find you in my arms
I breath in your scent
blow into your ear.
with the touch of my fingers
your heart beat picks mine-
you turn me towards you
unrelentingly watch me trembling,
with our combined feelings.
your rigid posture gives in to me

over the years I have fined tuned
our recipe of love, even though

Beautiful, but your twist at the end makes it sad.

"your heartbeat picks mine"
this is, to me, the most beautiful line!

It's wonderful, Tami. Except I was hoping the last line would be different, like:

over the years I have fined tuned
our recipe of love, as even now
we are celebrating
the occasion
by wine and sweet words

You are so creative with your romantic writing. I tried doing that kind of a poem for this, trembling, but as far as I was concerned it was a failure. Hence the tribute.

I am so glad to see it done, I knew it could be.

Well formed romantic poetry.

Often we celebrate a thing by being part of it.

This a touchingly beautiful piece. I am happy with the ending as it is not necessary to make a show of that love which has grown and adjusted over the years.

Still brilliant as always!

Dee found it sad but I agree with your first post by Archna.

There is a security in its romance that is...described succinctly here.

Well done. Very sweet.

love that recipe!

The final line is perfect: the recipe has produced something that doesn't need wine and sweet words (a lovely phrase, that) to make a gourmet meal that lasts and lasts.

Very well versed. I too, was surprised by the last few lines. It almost seems as if this union exists in a dream. Sensual.

Gautami,

Who needs wine or sweet words once you have that bonding?

Take care
