angular angels

angles in the path
distracted me
maybe I was lost
in that vast wasteland.
in the middle of no man's land
I ran over my life,
counting my achievements-
the end being near what else could I do?
you spoke to me in my mind
your love called out
what angel saved me
I can't fathom
yet I understood
I have had it always,
from you. from myself too.

~~~~~~
The first word is ANGLES, deliberately done so, not to be confused with ANGELS.
Reflective and sensitively beautiful! Our guardian angels are remarkable creatures! They always know when to be there!
I think sometimes that angel can be that inner voice that guides us. I also think the love we received is directly proportional to the love we give. Your poem is heartfelt.
Angels..where are they..all around.. we always know..there are never any doubts.. perhaps we create doubts..certainly not for any angelic reasons.. Well Gautami, words just flowed.. I find your words in the realms of true poetry always...
beautiful poem: the yearning
followed by learning.
That love and the unknown angel did their jobs! Those achievements didn't help you escape one bit, did they?
There is a lot here I am missing but the parts I got are wonderful.
