fairy tale

golden wings
it stood there near that stream
creature so beautiful
I circled from it
it was gone
I felt an itch on my shoulder blades

had I turned to a fairy?

I read the itching on your shoulders differently - that there was a fairly tapping you on the shoulder. Either way, I like the simplicity yet dreaminess of this piece.

Ooohhh... how cool would that be!!
Watching Harry Potter(and the magical creatures in the movies) puts such ideas into my head...
And now, your beautiful words made me feel it all over again...

Whenever you witness something unbelievably beautiful I am sure an itch is the very least response you could make. My own gasp of wonder and amazement would surely frighten it away.
