from one room to another

from one room to another
I walk miles
in the inner sanction of my mind
you lock me in your pendant
I am outside with my words.
which reverberate the time
from the tiny window
I see the life force
locked in your horns
trapped inside a vacuum

"let me create melody from meaningless sounds"

Beautiful swaying poem....lovely movement...wonder if you wrote sanction instead of sanctum of the mind intentionally or inadvertently ...obviously both would carry different meanings...lovely to meet you..

if you do visit my blog today ...My entries are of a rather uncharacteristic silly nature.... Please feel free to skip about

@Dr. Pearl: I wrote sanction, never even thought of sanctum....

loved your poetry and even i thought you meant sanctum. despite that i feel each of the words would have given beauty to these words..

you just got yourself a new admirer :)

Excelent, Gautami. One CAN walk miles right within one's own mind. So many rooms.....

Yet most of the time we find ourselves busy..finding meaningless sounds..even in melodies.. thanks Gautami a lovely poem as usual..

Lovely poem.

It is interesting to weigh words. To change just one word can change the whole meaning of a text.

Best wishes,

I read this several times to tease out various meanings. I suspect we all have walked such journeys, and with many different outcomes. I like the conclusion you drew.
