a statement

a statement-
I see in your stature
that fierce independence
is never far away
fuchsia, pinks and whites
merge with the grey
you redesigned that window
to usher in the orange-yellow sunshine
I walk out of the frame
corridor swallows me in

"that path can contain only you,
while I remain in the periphery"

Your poem speaks to her individual determination and the fact that she is alone. A deep poem. Well done.

You have captured the essence of the picture, in both the past and present of the subject.

A strength and depth to your words that match the photo well.

Yes you brought color to her and a sense of her survival through it all. Very well done. Gay

Lends strength to her individuality and her independence, but the end note does leave a sad ring to the matter, a loneliness stemming from that path...

Great statement of the journey and how we must walk alone at times. Beautifully honored the prompt! ~ Rose

Captured well, the individual strength, yet the longing for sunlit days beyond the window frame.

The closest to Greg's heart/art. Abstract, tender, chilling truthful, with a soulful grace.
I wish I were half a poet as your mind.
