MAC drives him nuts

in the labyrinth of computer peripherals
he stays awake
chasing the sleep away
sleep wants to sizzle in him
deep into the inner nakedness of his soul
(what you see here is just a projection)
those tiny hairs on his body stand out
fully charged yet so sleepy
still he chases it all away
with single mindedness
those keys interest him more
the screen holds him in the throes
the reflection in the mirror sizzles for him
red silken sheets behind him tell us a sensual tale

"let us leave it on him to finish it for us
while he waves it at us as a red flag"

I fell the same way about my laptop. I feel his pain.

I often lie there in bed, wanting to rekindle my hands to my keyboard, I must fight my thoughts and go to sleep.

Captivating and intriguing. I really like mention of "red silken sheets." Ah, what a waste of seductive fabric.

A double image for me and a very compelling one! So the poet is drawn to the computer and the image and struggles to be released from both but fails. Terrific write!

Wow. Aren't you amazingly clever! Where in the world did this come from? Your imagination and visualization is just incredible! I'm impressed that this gem came from such a simple prompt.

Impressive.
