tiptoed synergy

synergy of my toe
along with the keys of the piano
you sense a balance in the bucolic settings
yet you miss that alternate edge
one that has the potential to open me up
the tiptoed alter ego
that former self
those hanging threads others could see
but not you
never you
the bellowing curtains soothe the windows

in a while the crimsons dots will fall on the piano
only then you will know of my stiffness

I chose it this way
to play the keys while I go
holding on to music till the last breath

"soon stark death will stare you on the face"

I like your mention of the curtains as they do add a sense of carefree, gentle wind blowing to the picture.

Play the keys as you go - good way to live. I like the images this conjures up in my mind.

Wow! I believe this, and know he/they miss what they never tried to know, hearing and seeing what the narrator has given herself!

wow. I agree the crimson dots...and I also like "I choose it this way -as if she chose her own death hanging herself above the piano so she could hear the notes with her last dying breath. And perhaps that someone will finally notice her when the wind blows the curtains out of the way
