rein in the ruined reign

ruins call out to me
I gravitate towards it
reigns of the past loom large
overshadowing all in its wake
I rein in my chaotic thoughts
giving in to utter bliss of the moment-
past, present, future merged together

Past , present ,future merged together..that sums up and one knows one is in touch with an enlightened soul.. very well expressed..

Yes, we've got to grasp order out of it all.

Sometimes the past can loom over us. Living and being in the moment has its rewards, but can be so difficult to do. Nice play on words in the title too. :)

past always reigns sometimes and we could hardly get away with it...

why it is so? maybe it will always be that way!

The here and now is yesterday and tomorrow in a compact form. So is your verse. I like it.

Best wishes

A beautiful merging. Ruins are like old friends who remind us how fragile, how temporary, life is.

When it all comes together, would you really want to change a thing?
