raging fires-
what is it you really seek?
preponderance-
can it cool you down
re-uniting you with the winds?
flying, fleeting ashes spread far and wide.
in my dreamy world
I too seek the impossibility,
but let it be unspoken for now.
picture it, frame it-
only take it out, when flames die down

Really like the mythology used as a metaphor for "reuniting" with the creative fire within.

The fire still burns here.
In your corsswire of fires, it seems that there is a crosswire of the good and the bad - both have their place - a cleanser and a destroyer! Interesting poem!
we all have our "dream world" and it is a place where things that don't happen in the real do happen there!
beautiful thoughts Gautami!

Oh, the passion!
so beautifully done,
love your talent on the burn!
Lovely one
"only take it out, when flames die down"
Would it then mean the same thing..? Well, fire rages when wind
shakes hands with it..
Gautami, every visit on your page makes me think..and that's why it so interesting to be here.
Your poem contains passion and introspection. I think we need to kindle the fire within, in order to have a passion for life. Well said.
great poem gautami..
Lovely! I, took, seek the impossibility. ;)
Thanks for throwing a little flame on my word, preponderance! Very nice.

At neat poem, Tami. You could fill in the blank with almost any word here? I think even 'Jim' would fit in.
