Thanks for sharing these. It's good to see places from a real perspective versus air brushed and published in magazines.
thanks for the pics!
Delhi certainly has a rich history.
I like what you wrote "I curse Delhi and I love it." Glad you could post more pictures though I enjoyed the pictures in my mind formed from your words
Thanks for sharing these - I loved them.
Thank you, thank you ... for sharing photograph of Delhi.
I love to travel and India is a place I would love to visit.
Hopefully one day. :o)
Fabulous pictures and thank you for putting the link in at the end of the other post so we wouldn't miss them.
Fun to see this, makes you wish you could visit -
What a grand mixture of Traditional themes and British Colonialism. Just like Canada..without the Traditional themes of course.
The energy of the people is something that doesn't transfer but it must be intense.
The city must be so huge.
Delhi is a mixture of Indo-Islam as well as Roman architecture. Both co-exist and balance each other. New Delhi is all of British Colonisation and Old Delhi is Mughal. There are still quaint shops existing from long time back.
At some places one feels as if one has gone back on time.
Energy level is indeed high and one can feel the pulse of he people at any given point of time!
Thanks to you all, my friends!
I love these glimpses of an incredible place. I can practically feel the energy in these pictures.
Saw your link on Michele's and decided to follow it home. Nice to e-meet you!
Hope you'll drop by my blog sometime and say hi. too.
All the best.
