I stop space and time with a kiss-
eroding all the rules of diplomacy
with madness and neurotic honesty
coaxing our flesh to confess
what our words never dare profess
simmering, shivering, reckless kiss
igniting arson between our hips’
inciting the surface of our skin
frenzied entropies lurks within,
catastrophe of emotions and thoughts
which alternatively distort and contort
we unwittingly undrape deceits,
writhing under the silken sheets.
molten tongues, roving palms
yielding to contagion of giddy charms

yowsers, Gautami--
made me hot and bothered just reading it!
Happy skin...I mean new year...to you!
Hi Gautami. Great passion and energy in this poem. How have you been? Looks like you are keeping yourself very busy with the Poetry Train, and it looks like you're doing a fine job with it too. I've enjoyed dropping in here and reading your poetry during the last year. Hope the new one is a good one for you.
"yielding to contagion of giddy charms". Ohh, that is passionate. Nice one.
Passion indeed. Must go and cool off now! :-)
What else to do but yield? Too much warmth to resist.
Very passionate. Happy New Year to you. An award for you at my blog.
I am so glad I am wearing baggy pants.............
Hot ... to say the least! I enjoyed this.
I got stuck with the first line... it spun me off into an outtake!
wow. you have drawn me in a vortex of passion.
Wooh! I think if I went out and read your poem to the lake, the icepack would thaw! Well done!
Hot, hot, hot!
Nicely done.
summer time...skin time...good!
It's tough to pull off a poem like this, but you make it seem easy.
I especially like -
"simmering, shivering"
and
"frenzied entropies"
Entropy - from the physical sciences - has such rich possibilities when applied to human love.
Very well written!
What a beautifully sensual poem...such vivid imagery!
Thanks for mentioning the Poetry Train -- I have a brand new poem I can submit tomorrow.
Happy 2009 to you~~ :~)
Very touching...
I love the use of entropy and the notions it conjures up.
wow! i loved this.. my favorite one yet from you that i've seen so far :) i don't usually like poetry that rhymes.. but i really loved this.
You can feel the chemical reaction in this poem. Love that you chose to use the word "entropes".
WOW! The 1st line! I'm a huge coffee drinker, so it gets my attention. :)
very nice...ive read it for 3 days now.
ok where are you!!!!??? grrrr...
Coffee lips, love it! Okay it's a date, as long as you put me on the blogroll at MPTRevisited!
Only joking! perhaps?
Wow!
Entropy is one of my favourite concepts.
Could you please add me to the poetry train blogroll?
Oh, Gautami - there are so many gems here.
'coaxing our flesh to confess'
'catastrophe of emotions and thoughts'
'yielding to contagion of giddy charms'
Love all of it!
whew! I wonder when my mister will get home? *thanks a lot. No really.
WooHoo! This one's good to go! Passionate, definitely. Neurotic honesty brings it home - great, great work!
gee that was a passionate one!
phew !
Oh, my Gautami!
Is it hot in here or is it just me?
That was wonderful--love the coffee lips!
I'm heading to a cold shower after reading this poem!
Love it!
i feel that passion too, the frenzy, the nectar of coffee lips...what a post to read and enjoy this 2009 :)
igniting arson between our hips!
Wow, Gautami, what have you been up to lately?
What a fabulous rhythm :)
Hem,'we unwittingly undrape deceits'.Practice makes perfect!?:)
.."Entropy - from the physical sciences - has such rich possibilities when applied to human love"..for sharing this many thanks..
Definitely a wonderful rhythm and so very hot, hot, hot.
Arson between hips? WOW
Nicely done, Gautami!
cannot help but to think of tom hanks when he was on that island alone after crashing from the fedex plane and he screamed "fire, i made fire"....
Holy Frenzied Entropies Batman!
Hmmm...that is a nice fit because unexpected changes do tend to average out the differences in people.
Steamy one . . . igniting arson. Whew.
Happy New Year.
Wow two very different poems and I was able to relate to both. Sad to feel that tension of the first but it was great to move to powerful romance of the second.
Wonderful work,
Bonnie
I must admit, I am very fond of rhyming poetry, as you can probably tell from my own work. This poem as well as being very sexy suits both worlds.
I am dating an Indian girl at the moment too. :-p
