she created patterns
some with bold strokes,
her charcoal sliding smoothly
predict of her fingers just right
when she went to fetch colours
feeble ones ran out of the paper-
leaving behind a chaotic art-
a hole here, a vacuum there
she poured paint over it
waited for it dry
when the paper fluttered in air
she inhaled the essence
disorder in an orderly piece
gave her such a high
elation of creating chaos
is better than any drink

Nice work.
I like the texture this took on, just like a painting.

Keep up the great writing!
Wonderful brooding "colours" symbolising emotions! Great final contrast getting a high from the chaos of art as opposed to drink!
We all deal with our tensions in different ways.
I liked:
disorder in an orderly piece
gave her such a high
elation of creating chaos
Wonderful TWW.
Guatami, This is a lovely piece that engulfs the senses.
Great rendition of an artist bringing a vision to reality. Your flow is great and the reader can see a painting as it develops. I was not sure how the title fit into the poem, but, I enjoyed the poem nevertheless!
A wonderful poem. I like the that I could see the feeble paint running from the paper. Imagery at its best.
Wonderful piece.
Thank you for crafting it ;)
Yes, yes, yes on Creating Chaos.
YES.
Good one
Excellent description of the creation of chaos! :)
Creating art, whether on paper, canvas or screen, is definitely more intoxicating than any drink. I guess that's why we do it, right?
Oh, those feelings are so familiar. Loved the poem.
This is great, Gautami! "elation of creating chaos". I ought to feel that more often!!
very interesting ideas here
नमस्ते, काव्य महिला. I do believe this is one of your better pieces. Maybe you should write in this voice more often. I do like the way you described this artistic event and its emotional conclusion. Thanks Gautami!
Regards,
DH
Familiar feelings indeed!
Beautifully done!

art is a wonderful form of expression... a wonderful strong piece...
I particularly liked when she inhaled the essence of her creation, that attempt to fill all of her senses with the minutest details of its whole. You never fail to catch my breath and this certainly is no exception.

Interesting theory of art! And very nicely written. Getting high inhaling the essence of chaos. Great psychology.
