calling into the ghosts

an image or an apparition
blind to the ragged rain
a wavering candle hidden beneath a cape
ghosts call for blood
as he runs to the foot of the hill
arms akimbo blind to everything other than to escape
a mission impossible to achieve

"if only it was just as simple to run away from inner fears"

If only it was. But it isn't. Conquering them is the only way through. Beautifully penned. :)

That is very clever to produce such a poem from little more than the 12 wordle words. Bravo.

Run and the fears will catch up, but face them and they may well dissolve. Always good advice and penned so beautifully and succinctly here.

I loved what you did with the prompt---I would love it if it were as easy to work through my fears--
