internalised----3WW and Totally Optional Prompts!

Initial
, Knock, Weather

For totally optional prompts, I offer this as I think it goes with the prompt well. I interpret it this way!

taking the photographs out
appraising those with wonder.
initial euphoria receding like hairline
I sort through, throwing a few
with a knock onto memory.

ever changing weather mirrors
but absorbs too, darkest turns to light.
pictures come and go, enjoyed yet
ignored. ones that camera never captured.
internal experiments of the soul.

This is very good Gautami. The difference between those frozen photos and the fluid emotions.

Hi Gautami -- I really like the feeling in this, and I also love the line "ones that camera never captured". Really nice!

I like this. I actually understand this better than most of the poems/prose you have written. Maybe that's why.

Great poem!

Photographs are such a fine way of capturing memories and reliving them, superb..

Great poem. Can our photos really capture what we truly feel inside? Keep up the good work.

Have a nice day.

Well I already commented yesterday but I'll come back to say I still think it's great.

"ignored. ones that camera never captured." is incredible. It gets to the heart of what I read here. Beautiful. And true.

It's been said, but I'll say it again: that last part rocks, and seals the whole (no pun intended) nicely.

Gautami, I have been going through old photographs, so your poem hit home. One of my favorites of yours now.

exsquisite! You always capture more than a camera would. Your artistry is divine....

Really loved the ending Gautami. Those are two beautiful lines. And I got a chuckle out of the hairline line

why is it that we never have a camera when we want it...and when we do we cant take the picture that we are feeling!? Wonderful!

looking inward - like kaliedoscope eyes?

Often I think that I remember visual things without a camera along

It makes me really look and memorize, but then the camera sees thing I never did so...

Made me think :) I like that

ones that camera never captured.

Sometimes I think those are the most important pictures we never take.

I just found the T.O.P. page and plan to play in the future. I loved the hairline phrase too! Nice to "see" you again.
