in the shadows, let it be

you can leave now
it was a mistake to invite you
I need to rest the cause
my conscience is clear
we can never be friends
our communicate does not translate into that
not even for a second, I want to be with you
nothing will come out of it if we get together
this is no lab
I will not write a note

"the wrinkles on the potato skin
cannot detect the sick relationship
why are you trying to find bones, then?"

This is true so often when a relationship fails.

This drips with vitriol and passion. A lesson to be learned. Well done.

Exasperation that the other one just doesn't see it! No note is good, the other will no doubt see hope whatever the wording.

Bury the bones and let the spineless shadow be just that, a coward banished to lurk around in the dark corners!!

Sometimes, the best thing to do is 'let it be.' There is much passion in between the lines here!

Nice use of the words, Gautami. And it's nice to see you! I've read a few poems this week on the end of relationships...seems to be a theme.

Thank you for visiting julesstorypageswhirl...
I do not post the story verse on 'blogger' any more.

I really enjoyed those lines in the quote. Potatoe skins, could they hold the bones of books like a book jacket?

As it has been stated - you have taken us back to an emotional place where many of us have been.

The newest story verse addtion was just posted in the links at the Sunday Whirl. :)
