sensors work overtime

so difficult to fathom for most
yet so easy for me
that instant rapport
without reproach
going on a straightline
I stop. bending over the curve
I touch that milestone.

my sensors worked towards it
I turned towards you
and intend to stay cosseted

Good mating of two prompts ... love the ending, being pampered is a blessing.

It is amazing that the chemistry of first meeting a soul mate is so powerful.

Delightful poem.

"my sensors worked towards it

I love the symmetry of these lines! This poem made me feel like cheering!

I like this....you are cautious....:)

"intend" is an interesting word here, reminding us that more than one person's intention is relevant to the situation.

Instinct, caution - a symbiotic relationship.

Maybe our sensors are intuition? Being able to meet and instantly connect with people is a gift.

"Going on the straight line," huh?

Do you curve grades for your students? I always did because my expectations were much higher than merely passing. Hardly ever did anyone ace one of my tests.
