you have passed your absurdity to me

you have passed your absurdity to me

I look out for you in front of me
inside the books
in my poetry
in any song
also within the nothing
even on my plate while I eat
my tired mind can't grasp your absence
it knows you are there
in that space
which I created for both of us
although you never endorsed

no line can define what is more than love
if there is one, I would like to know

The emotions in this really drew me in Guatami.
You are right of course...how does one explain with any clarity what love is much less what is 'more than love'.

Sad but often true that we don't realise just how much we loved (more than loved) someone, until they are no longer with us.

what is more than love - that is profound - is there anything more than love - no money, food, wine, jewelry, apparal or passion that can be more fulfilling than love...

Very well put. I know this space.

For too many the proof of love only comes in the feeling of loss when they've gone.

hi. Prose is more my style, so I really admire poets.
Love your 'about me'. I suppose we are all trying to win /have control over ourselves... very deep!

This is very good. I liked the last few lines

in that space
which I created for both of us
although you never endorsed

I thought it was the perfect image of a one sided love.

Tami this is so beautiful and sad. Life I think is sad and loving is a part of it. Well done.....
