a book in which I am contained

between the pages
I found a feather
in the margins
notes written for me
the frantic desires
depicted for all to read
you collected me
in those pages

invisible to others
I see the silken threads
the ties, the knots
your dexterous fingers
working those

"I like the slide of your breath against my skin"

Gautami, found this at Writer's Island. You take such care in choosing your words. The simplicity of a feather between pages... lovely.

Thanks, hon. Amy

Gautami,

Read all current poems. All show various emotions and touch a chord in one's heart.

Take care
