I picked a sensation-
turned it around,
I let it mingle into me.
when the unexpected turn came,
my mind went blank for a while-
but I did not pick any weapons to fight;
choosing to let it go
"I create worlds in my mind
turned it around,
I let it mingle into me.
when the unexpected turn came,
my mind went blank for a while-
but I did not pick any weapons to fight;
choosing to let it go
"I create worlds in my mind
they all fall apart
yet I go on creating more"

wise choice,
letting go may be better at times.
bless you.
beautiful 55.
Learning to let go is an important lesson.
Great imagery. Inspired.
Letting go is huge. Well stated.
Solid, lifewise verses.
Hi Gautami, thats amazing! 'cos I just wrote - 'We all create our own worlds, some are more believable than others.' Great minds think alike, sometimes...

The only fights we truly win are the ones that never happen.
Nice 55, Gautami!
Letting go is an absolute must. Otherwise we would have no room to take in more. Good one, Gautami,

Creative and intriguing. I especially like the last sentence. What would we do without imagination.
Oh I like that!
Some of mine don't fall apart. When I'm lucky, I can turn them into books.
Beautiful on many levels...

Beautiful, beautiful.
Very meditative, I like it. :)
A very good bittersweet poem with the letting go part.
great :)
your mind will always create, whether you let it or not, so better to just let it do its thing :)
I like this. The unexpected can't be planned for. We don't know the choice until it comes.
Thoughtful and well expressed.
Excellent - stellar title!
nicely done again Gautami...letting go can be hard.....but sooooooooo good
