Poetry for me is a way of living, it comes out of nowhere and I have to write it down. How I write, what I write, I decide. I am not asking you to be judgemental. I am gifted with the ability to see beyond the obvious.

demolition

in gaps you create fences where none existed who am I to voice it aloud I will jump right into it stand in the midst speak all I need to
Wow...guilty as charged. Am I the only one that finds this "synchronistic"? This is exactly what I am working on to overcome in myself. Beautiful insight.
My view is that fences are for animals, to keep them in or keep them out.
They also make place holders for the borders. They say "What's mine is mine and I want to keep it mine." .. Thank you for the nice prompt word. It was fun but I had several false starts. ..
Dear Gautami, Good Evening! Fences build barriers .... We need bridges to get connected not the fences..... Well said... Wishing you a lovely evening, Sasneham, Anu
I live in Tucson, AZ, so this border issue is huge for me. I appreciate your perspective and its creative expression. http://www.kimnelsonwrites.com/2011/04/18/i-tell-myself/
love the concept of overlapping... sharing... sorta like how they demolished the iron curtain... brick by brick... word by word... great response to the osi prompt!

you are right gautami - so silly to build fences...so passe...
The intensity built is undercut by that great "so passe" line. Well developed and meaningful.

Brilliant! Thank you for sharing!
Ditto on the brilliant! I love your notion of jumping into the gap and speaking your truth.
Borders are a bit strange. I remember as a kid passing over a state border and wondering what happened to the fence and the guys with guns.
not a big fan of fences myself...tear that wall down!
So quickly we build our fences yet seldom take the time to mend them. Great Sunday 160. Thanks for playing.
I like fences with gaps in them, so you can sneak through and share tea. Beautifully written!
Lovely! I like this version even better than the one posted at One Single Impression.
Very telling theme
Wonderful contrast achieved in pairing the image with "voice it aloud" and "speak all I need to".
This is wonderful and so true, if we don't start leaping over fences, then boundaries will always be set in stone. Powerful write
Brave of you to jump right in. Very insightful.

I like the gaps in the fence or the fences with steps. I don't like to be kept OUT

I kind of disagree ,, borders add a bit of fun sometimes :)
very deep and perfect
Thoughtful, excellent.

...But as soon as we break one down, another one appears...
Would that there were no need for fences at all. Well said Gautami.
