comrade in arms

it is wholly nigh
to say that
April showers bring May flowers
merciless heat has no place for rains
it only support abrasive dust
the underside of over-bridge
is as dry as it can be
We see fishes reflected back
images merge with one another

"paleness of the dry acrid earth
engulf the Sun into their fold,
are they comrade in arms?"

I get so lost in your poetic expressions, and their deep meaning, that I always enjoy a second (or even third) read.
You are gifted.

It's almost like you made us feel like those fish..worried that water might run dry..not cool even though in some water..a scratchy, hot, uncomfortable feeling..Jae

Beautiful piece and so pertinent as we so often stupidly wrestle with nature.

These images put the reader in the moment and make this piece very visual. I like this a lot!

coming from a rainy area it is fascinating for me to be reminded of how other parts of the world exist so differently ... this was really well done ...
