colours lay bare my soul

I scribble on you
with pencil colours
blue is normal
orange heaves for me
red laughs at my passion
green just watches
the imminent moodiness
lines, and the ripples
create an illusion
of double rainbow
which engulf me
my fingers violate the violets
shrinking or otherwise
isn't that purple so deep
as to cause an yellowish tinge
on your pages-
you are a witness to all the hues
all the shades, that is I.

"my diary, with you I share all secrets,
no colour tampers with my spirit"

Yes, we're composed of many colours, some which we may display boldly and others that are kept in the recesses!

You are a person like me! I love all colors - except black, navy and brown.

Finally, a post using the words assigned that does not deal with disaster in some way. Thank you.

Many of us put a light hearted cast on it, but disaster nonetheless.

You decided a rainbow worked fine. Happiness!

Feel like I just watched you dance in shawls of every hue. Especially like "my fingers violate the violets," wonderful sound on the tongue. Love what you did with the prompt,

I love how you've made words that usually evoke disaster and darkness mean color and brightness. Great post. Happy 3WW! Mine is up as well!

Really nice poem! And a lovely idea, writing journals in different colors... mind you, my variable handwriting probably says enough about my mood at any particular writing :)

A composite of colors is what we need, I agree.

A spectrum of emotion, we are of many colours within some without names. Lovely title and poem. Enjoyed.

This was wonderful! Colors are so important to life and I guess what we like and dislike speaks more about us than words

Guatami, I'm with Christopher. You went with images of natural color combined with the beauty of one's soul. Loved it! Amy
