rambunctious tale

it was a close call
I jumped out of the coffee mug
that spoon saved my life
in the fallow garden near that pond
gulliver had visited me
saved me from the swallows-
gave me the obsolete mug to rest my case
I admire him for offering me crumbs
now I will read the rambunctious newspaper
until you get that automobile for my ride

"first tell me, why did want to scald me with hot coffee?"

This is wonderful, Gautami! You gave the spoon better energy than I did in my Magpie. LoL

I wrote a different piece for the wordle, but do love your incorporation of the whirl words in this piece. Excellent work!

Spoons make great see-saws and oars!
Love the swallows and Gulliver-thanks!

Dear Gautami: Definitely I feel the sentiment here; why would Gulliver scald especially if he

"saved me from the swallows-"

the mystery continues!
Fun and inquisitively exquisite!

I haven’t thought about Gulliver’s Travels for forty years. Thank you for the memory. This is a lovely, playful wordle poem, and you make the most of it.

A lovely read, intriguing to take in without the picture, which hovered behind like a harmony to your melody.

A clever surprise as the litle king jumps out of the mug...of course!

I think the presence of the little king in the image made us all think a little of the nursery.
Excellent Magpie!

Gulliver and Alice so much growing and shrinking...great thoughts in this ...I love that he climbed out on a spoon...was it a silver one I wonder?
