Poetry for me is a way of living, it comes out of nowhere and I have to write it down. How I write, what I write, I decide. I am not asking you to be judgemental. I am gifted with the ability to see beyond the obvious.

I paper walls hiding hideous marks left over from a time we lost I like crinkled finish bubbles formed under paper
Wall paper was a marvelous invention. Mrs. Jim and I do wall papering together. Neither of us could do it alone. She doesn't have the technical skills and I can never get the pattern matched.

Yeah we never find the time lost! :)
Rarely.
Thoughtful words.
those hidden marks..!!
unfortuantely we can not tuck time away fro another day...
time present and time past, are both perhaps present in time future and time future in time past....unending conundrum.
Thanks for a fun prompt and your interesting poem.

papering over the past - sometimes it works - sometimes not so much.
authentic.
I love the mood of this poem! Thank you for this prompt! :)
This opens up a world of inter-personal possibilities. Thanks for sharing on Real Toads.
Paper can cover the hideous, but not erase the memory..so creative...Love this piece!!
Crinkly paper indeeds hides hideous marks, both literally and figuratively.
I love the metaphor of covering over a bad time with paper. As if by hiding the evidence, we can erase it. A very thoughtful reply to the prompt.
Good thinking, and very well said.
I knew there was a reason why I love wallpaper so much.

Visually pleasing and thought provoking. Thanks for playing along with the Sunday 160.
Very interesting. Time is valued only after it is passed.
Time and tide waits for none and realization just comes a bit too late!!
