seasons of eternity--Writers Island

there never is any spell to profess love
eyes play their part
ears are attuned to beat of heart
fingers make imprints on skin
palms span it with blind faith

sensitised to core
emotions surge out even though hidden
slight movements create havoc
nothing is demolished
except for barriers

entwined limbs hold seasons of eternity
celebrating togetherness of being.

Beautiful.

Sometimes the deepest sentiments can only be telepathic..when we open our mouths we spoil the moment..and we never get to take back the stupid things that we say.

Gautami, all I can say is that I fell in love with these words

That is a gorgeous word hug. The language with its rhythms and luxuriousness of sound and tone wraps around the reader in a truely wonderful open loving hug.

gautami,
I know of no greater joy than the feeling communicated when we tear down the barriers between us!

A gorgeous turn of phrase. The body can say so much without ever moving at all.

Yes. Beautiful. (And Gautami, the comments my blog are always closed except for the HELLO post at the bottom which changes every week. Everybody does their blog their own way. It's just how I do mine. I post. I take stuff down. All the time. If you ever really need to reach me, my Email is on my profile. As always. Always open. Especially for you.)

This struck a chord with me because of some events in my family and how they have improved relationships for the better--indeed, the barriers have come down. Thanks for articulating these feelings so beautifully.

Everything we see, everything we are, and have, and do serve their purpose like the seasons ~ this season serve one of its magic to break the barriers built over the years among families, and friends and people we longed to reconnect with. May this season remains the knot that ties these bonds and the connections remain tight forever.

I wish you well this season.
